Muthu Mara River Lodge is a newly built accommodation owned and operated by Muthu Collection, which runs the best properties in Kenya. The lodge is situated in Mara North Conservancy, Lemek Conservancy (a bit of a drive from Mara Triangle), on the banks of Legendary Mara River in the heart of the Masaai Mara Ecosystem in the Kenya region. The lodge is perfectly located, offering views of the stunning Mara River, abundant wildlife, and the surrounding sweeping landscape.
How to get there
It takes approximately 5-6 hours (250km) drive from Nairobi city center to Masaai mara national park and an hour to fly from Nairobi to the close Mara North airstrip, then a few minutes to be transferred to the lodge.
About the lodge
Muthu Mara River Lodge consists of 81 comfortable and spacious rooms that offer views of the river, sweeping landscapes, and wilderness, all infusedwith an African blend.
-The Rooms offers twin/ doubles beds for sharing individual beds (single) as well as family rooming options.
Each room is well decorated and furnished with en-suite facilities, including clean private flush toilets, hot and cold showers, mosquito nets, deck chairs, wooden tables, free bottled water, free toiletries, extinguishers, and air conditioning, among many other amenities.
-Each room has sitting areas and verandas with vanity decks that give great views over the Wilderness, Mara River and surrounding areas.
-There is a cracking fireplace with comfortable chairs where guests relax and share more experiences about the safaris not only that, but it also provides warmth to visitors during cold nights.

Two restaurants that serves different cuisines both international ( vegetarians and non- vegetarians) and Kenyan and Mediterranean cuisine to meets guests choice ; They offer buffet breakfast served from 6am to 9am , picnic lunch and dining areas that serves both in and outdoor diners served by a well- trained friendly and organized staff that ensures comfort and safety, they also serve bush diners overlooking the stars in the sky and Bush breakfast enjoying the morning sunrises with stuning views of the river

Masaai Mara National Park is among the largest and most visited parks in Kenya, known for its incredible density and variety of animals. it is situated 270km north of Nairobi in Kenya, occupying a total area of 1,510 km squared. There are over 1 million tribes in Kenya, Masaai are initial and local group of semi –Nomadic people that settled in Kenya and the northern part of Tanzania.
Maasai Mara National park is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in southwestern Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. The park contains over a million animals that include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos; 600 species of birds; and 60 species of raptors in different colors. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration from Serengeti national park during July, August and October. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers.
