Detailed Itinerary of 8 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will brief you shortly, before transferring to your hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Latitude 0 (Luxury) or Arcadia lodge (Mid – range) or Forest cottages (Standard).

Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up to a delicious breakfast, then be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park – one of the most popular national parks in Uganda. Along the way you will have at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an opportunity to track the endangered white rhinos on foot and enjoy close sighting of them. Enjoy lunch in Masindi and continue to Murchison Falls National Park arriving in late afternoon, head to the top of the falls for beautiful views of the Nile River, watch it squeeze through the narrow gorge before free falling. Head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight and dinner at the overnight at Para Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Pakuba Safari lodge (mid – range) or Heritage Safari lodge (Standard).

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Start your day with a cup of African coffee for an early morning game dive, with the help of your driver guide you will be able to spot several animals including lions, elephants, cape buffaloes Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeests, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, bohor reedbuck, hyena and leopard if you are lucky.
Lunch will be served at your lodge. In the afternoon you will go for a boat trip along the Nile River, towards the Murchison Falls. Watch the giant Nile crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes and several water birds as you sail. You will make a stop a few meters below the thunderous Murchison Falls and get a good view of the river as it squeezes through a narrow gorge and flowing with a thunderous roar. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight and dinner at Para Safari Lodge (Luxury) or Pakuba Safari lodge (mid – range) or Heritage Safari lodge (Standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner.
Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, set off on a relaxed drive through the verdant countryside heading to Kibale Forest National Park with en route stops for sightseeing including the distant views of the rift valley escarpment. Reach Kibale Forest in the late afternoon and spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, enjoy dinner and overnight.
Overnight and dinner at the Kyaninga lodge (luxury) or Turaco Tree top lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Standard).
Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Nature Walk
Enjoy an early breakfast, then set off to the park headquarters for briefing about chimpanzee tracking, here a ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow while on this amazing primate experience. Head into the forest searching for chimpanzees; expect to see other primates like vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys among others.
When you locate the chimpanzee troop, spend one hour in their presence watching them play, feed and groom each other and take beautiful photos and videos. Return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, go for a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for swamp walk, primate and bird viewing. The water takes approximately 2-3 hours, later return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Dinner and Overnight at the Turaco Tree top lodge (Mid-range lodge).

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, set off on a spectacular journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with an en-route lunch. Arrive in the park in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge (luxury) or Ichumbi Gorilla lodge (Midrange lodge) or Broadbill Forest Camp (standard).
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest
Start your day early with a mouthwatering breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing session for the UWA. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots among others.
Guides and armed rangers will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy primates, the trek takes approximately 2 to 4 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. Once you locate the gorillas family assigned to you, you will spend one hour in their presence as you watch them play, feed and groom.
Return to your lodge and in the afternoon go for a cultural village visit to the Batwa Community, here you will be entertained by local dances and drama among other activities giving you a deeper insight into their lifestyle in the forest, culture, traditions and customs.

Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma lodge (luxury) or Ichumbi Gorilla lodge (Midrange lodge) or Broadbill Forest Camp (standard).

Day 8: Bwindi Forest to Entebbe
Enjoy a leisurely morning breakfast, then embark on a return journey to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara and a stopover at the Equator for an amazing Equator Experience and photography, before you are transferred to Entebbe Airport for your evening flight back home with a heart filled with ever-lasting memories.
Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch.
