Detailed Itinerary of 7 Days Bwindi Gorillas & Zanzibar Holiday
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide; after briefing you about the safari you will embark on a 6 to 8 hours journey south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Have a stop at the Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for photos and lunch in Mbarara.
Arrive in the park in the evening, check in at your lodge for an evening of rest, and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up very early for breakfast and head to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking. A senior ranger guide will take you through rules and regulations to follow while in the presence of the gorillas, assign you a gorilla family to trek and head into the misty Bwindi Forest looking for mountain gorillas.
The trek takes approximately 2 to 6 hours or more depending on the movement of the gorillas and where they spent their previous night. You are only allowed one hour with these gentle giants watching them go on with their life in the forest, groom and play. After that, you will return back to the park offices where you will meet your guide and embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drive in Kasenyi Sector – Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel
After breakfast, you will head to the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning game drive, allowing you to spot several early risers and predators returning from their hunting sprees. Expect to see leopards, hyenas, lions, warthogs, elephants, warthogs, antelopes and many more.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch and refreshment. Later in the afternoon you will go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel – one of the largest concentration of wildlife. Expect to see hippos, waterbucks, crocodiles and other mammal drinking water along the banks. The channel is a birder’s paradise and hosts both resident and migratory species. Once you have completed the 3 hour boat cruise, you will return to the lodge to rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe and Fly to Zanzibar
Enjoy an early breakfast and with en-route game drive, bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth National Park and journey back to Entebbe International Park. After lunch, you will catch your afternoon flight to Zanzibar.
On landing at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver guide and transferred to your hotel in the Stone Town.

Day 5: Stone Town City Tour
After breakfast, you will be picked up at around 08:00 for Stone Tour to visit the historic sites and shopping in the Antique and gift shopes. Enjoy lunch at Mtoni Marine Restaurant and after lunch proceed to Spice farms looking for spices and tropical fruits.
Day 6: Dolphin Excursion
After breakfast, drive to the South and take the Dolphin Excursion in the southernmost part of the island, in the quaint Kizimkazi Fishing Village. Here many dolphins live happily in a natural setting, and so you will be able to see them in their best possible scenario. The tour is carried out in the early morning and afternoon, subject to weather conditions.
Day 7: Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you can take a stroll on the white sand beaches and then be transferred to the airport to catch a flight back home or to your next destination.
