4 Days Double Gorilla Trek
This 4 Days Double Gorilla Trek in Uganda is designed for visitors who are interested in experiencing two different gorillas families in Uganda’s iconic Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Watching two separate gorilla families allows one to observe and compare group behaviors/dynamics. No gorilla groups are the same in composition. Some have more silverbacks, females and overall number of individuals. You might find one group has a mother with twins while another has only young juveniles, the terrain in Rwanda is more mountainous and gorillas feed mostly on bamboo forests.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is arguably the best place for gorilla trekking in the world, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas in the world, with 20 habituated gorilla families open for gorilla trekking.
