DETAILED ITINERARY OF 6 DAYS KENYA BUDGET SAFARI
Day 1: arrival in Nairobi and transfer to Maasai Mara national reserve
To mark the start of 6 days Kenya budget safari you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi by your safari driver-guide, he will give you a short safari briefing and drive to the famous Maasai Mara national reserve. On your way you will enjoy panorama vistas in the Great Rift Valley and have a brief stopover for a photography session, you will have another stop in the Narok town for an encounter with the local Maasai people and get a chance to buy beautiful anticraft.
Arrive in Maasai Mara national reserve in time for lunch, check into you lodge and in the afternoon you will head to the reserve for a game drive. Maasai Mara national reserve is a home to diverse species of wildlife and the greatest concentration of wildlife in Kenya, some of the animals inhabiting in the reserve include lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, cape buffaloes, African wild dogs, antelopes, wildebeests, hartebeests, gazelles and many more. You will enjoy watching these animals as you explore the reserve and in the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: full day in Maasai Mara national reserve
Have early breakfast and head to the park for a full day game drive together with your packed lunch for picnic lunch, on this full day you will have a lot of time exploring the beautiful rolling savannah plains of the reserve and enjoy sights of many animals such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, cape buffaloes, African wild dogs, antelopes, wildebeests, hartebeests, gazelles, leopards, elephants and many birds. Your lunch will be set at one of the picnic sites in the wilderness of the serve, then set off for an afternoon game drive heading to the Mara river where you will watch the spectacular wildebeest migration as the migrating herds (gazelles, wildebeests and zebras) faceoff with crocodiles in the river.
In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: full day exploring Lake Naivasha
After breakfast you will checkout and drive to the Great Rift Valley floor for a full day of exploring Lake Naivasha, before arriving at Lake Naivasha you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley as you head up to the Mai-Mahiu.
Lake Naivasha is a famous Kenya safari destination for hosting a huge concentration of pink flamingoes and other 400 bird species, the lake is also a home to Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhinos, waterbucks, buffaloes, monkeys and baboons.
Arrive at the lake in the afternoon, have lunch at your hotel then go for a boat ride on which you will enjoy the cool breeze of the lake’s water, watch many flamingoes on the shores of the lake. Then you will go for a nature walk on which you will watch many animals such as Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhinos, water bucks, monkeys, baboons and many more.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli national park
After breakfast, you will checkout and head to Amboseli national park one of the most scenic national parks in Kenya, Amboseli national park is gifted with the backdrop of the snow capped summit of Mountain Kilimanjaro the tallest free standing mountain in Africa dominating the landscape of the park. Amboseli national park is also famous for its large herds of elephants with the biggest tusks in Kenya, on your way you will have lunch in Nairobi and proceed to the park.
Arrive in evening, check into your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 5: full day in Amboseli national park
After breakfast you will head to Amboseli national park for a full day of game drive with your packed lunch, on this day’s excursion you will enjoy watching many animals such as large elephant herds, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, cheetahs, lions, wildebeests, antelopes and many birds. You will also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro, lunch will be set in picnic style in the wilderness of the park and in the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.
