Detailed itinerary of 8 days (7 nights) Tanzania couple safari

Day 1: arrive in Tanzania

On arrival in Tanzania’s Arusha city at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be picked up by your safari driver-guide then drive to Arusha Town which is in a drive of 45 minutes for a overnight.

Day 2: transfer to Tarangire national park

After morning breakfast at your hotel in Arusha city you will have a short safari briefing then set off on a drive with your safari guide heading to Tarangire national park a popular Tanzania safari destination for its large herds of elephants. Arrive in the park in time for lunch which you will have after checking into your lodge then go for an afternoon game drive on which you will enjoy sighting many animals such as lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, leopards, elephants, warthogs, giraffes, cheetahs and many more most especially at the banks Tarangire River. After the experience you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 3: transfer to Lake Manyara national park

Wake up early and head to the park for early morning game drive offering you incredible views of various wildlife species most especially predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards and many early risers. You will also enjoy a magnificent sunrise and have bush breakfast set in the wilderness of the park. After the experience you will exit the park and head on a journey to Lake Manyara national park a famous destination for tree climbing lions and pink flamingoes congregating at the shores of Lake Manyara covering the most area of the park.

Day 5: full day in Serengeti national park

Your lunch will be set in the wilderness of the park, then go for another game drive. Return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 6: Hot air balloon and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early for a cup of coffee and head to the park for a hot air balloon experience, you will be briefed about the safari as you watch the balloon being inflated then climb into the balloon. As you fly in the sky you will enjoy aerial views of the rolling plains of the park and many animals such as lions, leopards and many more. After the experience you will be you will be treated to a bush champagne breakfast, then head back to your lodge, checkout and embark on a journey to Ngorongoro Crater the world’s largest intact volcano arriving in time for lunch which you will have after checking into your lodge. Day 7: explore Ngorongoro crater

After breakfast at your lodge you will descend to the crater floor together with your packed lunch for a full day of game drive on which you will explore the crater floor watching a number of animals such as lions, buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, giraffes, elands, warthogs and many more. You will have lunch set in the wilderness of the crater floor then go for another game drive exploring other parts of the crater floor while enjoying the magnificent views of the crater its self. Later return to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8: transfer back to Nairobi
