Day 1-2: Experience Tarangire’s Biodiversity
Your driver guide will meet you at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and transfer you to Tarangire National Park by road. Tarangire is a beautiful national Park and home to Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants and over 500 bird species, with varied terrain from granite ridges, river valleys, baobab trees dotting the savannah, and the wildlife – rich Silale swamp.
Enjoy exciting game drives and walking safaris to observe the smaller creatures and learn about animal tracking. Alternatively, conquer the skies in a hot air balloon at dawn or spot rare nocturnal wildlife on a thrilling night drive.

Day 3-5: Explore Ngorongoro’s Wonders
After a delicious breakfast surrounded by the early morning soundscape of the bush, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, driving up the Rift Valley Escarpment and stopping to soak in the view of the crater on the journey to the Camp/Lodge.
On an early morning departure from camp, your experienced safari guide will take you on a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, in a comfortable seven – seater vehicle with pop-up rooftops, onboard power points, and fridges. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor while spotting Tanzania’s iconic wildlife including the Big Five – lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos and elephants.
Your Ngorongoro Safari also includes a hike down into Empakaai Crater, where a soda lake attracts flamingoes on their migration path, as well as a fascinating cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village.

Day 6-8: Explore Serengeti National Park
After a delicious breakfast, your guide will take you to Manyara Airstrip for a flight to the northern Serengeti. You will be met by a guide and transferred to your lodge, the base for the final chapter of your Tanzania family safari.
During your Serengeti safari you will experience sensational twice-daily safaris led by expert guides, walking safaris and enriching cultural experiences to visit the nearby Kuria Tribe. A hot air balloon ride over the endless plains of Serengeti is exhilarating, and sampling a refreshing drink at your camp’s bar is a perfect way to round off a dusty day out on a safari.
