You will also engage in chimpanzee trekking in Budongo.

Day 1: Arrival and drive to Murchison Falls National Park
On the 1st day of your 5 days Murchison Falls N.P and Chimpanzee trekking tour, our driver guide will pick you up from Entebbe airport and brief you about the safari tour and then begin the journey to Murchison falls national park in north-western Uganda.
On your way to Murchison Falls N.P, you will have great views of beautiful sceneries, landscape, roadside markets, and local people among others with stop overs at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking which is the only place in Uganda that harbours the endangered white rhinos in their natural environment. After rhino tracking experience you will proceed with the journey with en-route lunch in Masindi town. After lunch you will proceed to the park and upon arrival you will drive to the lodge where you will check in, have dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise on Murchison Falls
Wake up early in the morning, you will be served with breakfast at the lodge, after meet your guide who will take you for the morning game drive. The game drives in Murchison Falls National Park is done following different tracks such as Buligi game track, Victoria game track, Albert game track among.
While on Murchison falls game drives you will spot animals like bushbucks, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, waterbucks, Jacksons hartebeests, oribi, warthogs, predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, bird species like marabou stork, black bellied bustard, open billed stork, black headed lapwing, Abyssinian ground hornbill, grey crowned crane, yellow billed stork, secretary bird, osprey among others as well as taking beautiful pictures. After the game drive you will return back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch your driver will take you to Paraa landing site for boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During the boat ride you will have great views the waterfall, take beautiful photos, cruise near aquatic animals like hippos and Nile crocodiles, other animals. After the boat excursion , meet your driver guide who then drive to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Nile delta boat cruise and afternoon game drive
Wake up and have a relaxed breakfast, after your driver guide will pick you up to transfer to the Paraa jetty for a Nile delta boat cruise.
The Nile delta boat cruise takes about 4 to 5 hours ride and during this breath-taking activity you will have spectacular views of Murchison falls, large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, bird species etc. After the Nile delta boat cruise, you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for afternoon game drive in the park, to spot the incredible animal species like lions, elephants, buffaloes and among many others including the sighting of various bird species. After the experience you will go back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest.
On the 4th day of your 5 days Murchison Falls N.P and Chimpanzee trekking tour wake up early in the morning, you will be served with early breakfast and also you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Budongo forest for chimpanzee trekking.
Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest starts with a briefing at the headquarters about the rules, regulations and expectations of chimpanzee trekking at the headquarters and after the briefing you will start trekking with a park guide who will be sharing information about chimpanzees and also conversant with different trails in the forest which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours or even a full day depending on where the chimpanzees are found.
During trekking you will spot other primate species like blue monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, bird species like grey long bill, African emerald cuckoo, slender billed greenbul, tree species, butterflies, small mammals among others.
Upon finding the chimpanzees, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to take photos, record videos, learn more about their habits, behaviours, lifestyles, watch them.
After chimpanzees tracking, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide to drive you back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Departure to Kampala
This is the last day of your safari tour. Wake up in the morning and you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and your driver-guide will pick you up to start the journey back to Kampala. You will have en-route lunch on the way reach Kampala in the evening
Upon arrival your driver-guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of convenience.
