DETAILED ITINERARY OF 14 DAY PRIVATE KENYA – TANZANIA TOUR
Day 1: Pick up in Nairobi – Samburu national reserve
To start your safari, you will be picked from your hotel in Nairobi by your Kenya safari driver – Guide, he will give you a short briefing about the safari and embark on a journey to Samburu national reserve.
Along the way you will enjoy the landscape changing into the country wilderness and also have lunch, when you arrive in the park you will have en-route game drive as you head to your lodge.

Day 2: Full day in Samburu national reserve
Have breakfast and head to the dry plains of Samburu national reserve for a full day game with your packed lunch, you will spend the full day exploring Samburu national reserve. Lookout for several wildlife like lion, African leopard, cheetah, elephant, cape buffaloes, hippos, olive baboons, warthogs, Grant’s gazelles, Kirk’s dik-dik, impala, waterbuck among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: transfer to Lake Nakuru national park
Enjoy breakfast, checkout of your lodge and embark on a drive to Lake Nakuru national park – a birder’s haven known for large populations of pink flamingoes and other birds. You will arrive in the park in the evening and with en-route game drive, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: full day game drive in Lake Nakuru national park
Enjoy morning breakfast and head to the park for a full day game drive, as you explore the savannah plains of Lake Nakuru national park and Lake Nakuru you will spot several animals include giraffes, African wild dogs, zebras, lions, and many birds include pink flamingos, cormorants, herons among others.
You will have picnic lunch or lunch at the lodge, in the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnights stay.

Day 5: transfer to Masai Mara national reserve
Wake up early for breakfast and checkout of your lodge and embark on a drive to Masai Mara national reserve – the most popular wildlife destination in Kenya known for its huge population of wildlife and the annual wildebeest migration. You will arrive in the reserve in time for lunch and with en-route game drive you will head to your lodge, enjoy lunch and rest for a while. In the afternoon you will you go for a game drive exploring the endless plains of the reserve. Lookout for a huge population of wildlife including giraffe, leopards, rhinos, cape buffaloes, lions, cheetahs, hippos, zebras, African hare, banded mongoose and many birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Full day in Masai Mara national reserve
Spend a full day exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara national reserve, you will have early breakfast and head to the reserve for a full day game drive exploring several parts of the reserve. You will enjoy spotting several animals including the big Five “lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, elephants and rhinos”, other animals to lookout for include cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes among others. Your lunch will be set on one of the picnic sites in the reserve along the Mara River or go back to your lodge. You will continue exploring the reserve until evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Tanzania with border crossing at Isebania – Lake Victoria
After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to the Isebania border crossing over to Tanzania, after clearing with the authorities at the gate you will meet your Tanzania guide and transfer to Lake Victoria. Along the way you will enjoy lunch, arrive in the evening, and check-in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Canoe on Lake Victoria, visit the fishing village and Bung Market
Enjoy early breakfast and head to the lake for a canoe experience exploring the lake and enjoy amazing views of the lake and several water birds, you will then visiting the fishing village and Bung Market where you will interact with the fisher men, learn more about their fishing techniques and see how they sell fish. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: transfer to Serengeti national park
Wake up early for breakfast, checkout of the lodge and set off on a journey to Serengeti national park. Arrive in afternoon and with en-route game drive you will head to your lodge for lunch and a short rest. You will head to the park for a game drive exploring the park and enjoy seeing as many animals as possible. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10 – 11: full day in Serengeti national park
On the 10th day of your 14 day Private Kenya – Tanzania Tour, Spend a full day in Serengeti national park, you will enjoy early morning breakfast and head to the park for a full day game drive – morning and afternoon game drive.
As you drive through the endless savannah plains, you will enjoy sights of many animals including the big Five – lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, rhinos, elephants. Other animals you will enjoy watching include giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, elands among others. You will have picnic lunch and continue with exploring the park, in the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Crater tour and transfer to Lake Manyara
Wake up early for breakfast and with en-route game drive, you will exit the park and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – a host for Ngoronoro Crater the largest intact caldera in the world. Upon arrival you will check into your lodge and in the evening, you will have a game driver around the crater. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: early morning game drive and transfer to Namanga border crossing to Amboseli National park
Enjoy breakfast and head to descend to the crater floor for a game drive, as you explore the crater floor you will enjoy watching many animals living in the crater floor such as giraffes, large prides of lions, elephants, cape buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs among others, you will also spot several birds on Lake Magadi. With packed lunch, you will embark on a journey to Namanga border and crossing over to Amboseli national park. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Depart for Emali

You will then exit the park and with en-route lunch you will drive back to Nairobi, you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at the airport for your departure flight back home.
