10 days Maasai Mara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti safari is a combined Kenya – Tanzania safari taking you on an African safari adventure to Maasai Mara national reserve, Ngorongoro crater and Serengeti national park.
Maasai Mara National Park and Serengeti National Park are found in the oldest ecosystem in the world, which is the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, which hosts some of the largest populations of animals, including large prides of lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, among others.
Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world, and on its crater floor, it is home to several wildlife species, including the Big Five.
This safari starts from Nairobi and ends in Nairobi City.
Day 1 – visit the elephant orphanage and transfer to Lake Nakuru.
After breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi, you will meet your guide and head to the Elephant orphanage for an encounter with the elephants. You will have a chance to get close sightings of the elephants and watch them feed.
You will then head back to your hotel for lunch and then embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru, arriving in the afternoon. On arrival in the park, you will have a short en-route game drive as you head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 -Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the park for a morning game drive exploring the savannah plains of the park and visiting Lake Nakuru. Some of the animals to look out for include giraffes, rhinos, impalas, colobus monkeys, zebras, gazelles, and leopards, among others.
After lunch at the lodge, you will embark on a journey to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, an iconic Kenyan wildlife destination. Arrive in the late afternoon, with an en-route game drive, you will head to your lodge, check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 3: full day in Maasai Mara
You will spend these two days of your safari exploring the endless savannah plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will enjoy morning breakfast at your lodge and head to the reserve for a full-day game drive, exploring with a picnic lunch.
Some of the animals to look out for include prides of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, leopards, cheetahs, bat-eared foxes, wildebeests, giraffes, among others. Head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Serengeti
Have an early breakfast and head to the Isebania border with your packed lunch. At the Isibania border, you will complete all the legalities, meet your Tanzania guide and vehicle, and head to Serengeti National Park. With an en-route game drive, you will head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Full Day Serengeti
Enjoy breakfast and head to the park for a full day of game drive with your packed lunch. Serengeti National Park is found in one of the oldest ecosystems in the world, with endless savannah plains and abundant wildlife.
Game drives in Serengeti National Park offer you a chance to explore the wilderness of the park and spot several animals, including lions, cheetahs, cape buffaloes, zebras, gazelles, leopards, rhinos, wildebeests, giraffes, among others. Your lunch will be set at one of the picnic sites in the park, then continue with exploring the park. In the evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Serengeti to Ngorongoro and crater tour
Have an early breakfast and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area – the world’s largest intact crater for exploration. When you arrive, you will have lunch, and in the afternoon, you will descend to the crater floor for exploration, enjoying the scenic views and a huge population living on the crater floor.
Some of the animals you will enjoy watching include lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, giraffes, and flamingoes at Lake Magadi, found in the crater floor. Ascend to the lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro –Arusha
Have breakfast, and head for a game drive around the crater, and then head to Arusha, arriving in time for lunch. You will spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to Amboseli (for more views of Mount Kilimanjaro and large herds of elephants)
Wake up early for breakfast and head to the Namanga border, where you will complete all the legalities, meet our Kenya guide and the vehicle, and transfer to Amboseli National Park with en-route lunch.
Arrive in Amboseli in the afternoon, and upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the spectacular views of Mountain Kilimanjaro – the tallest free standing mountain in the world. During the game drive, you will watch large herds of elephants roaming, wild dogs, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, lesser kudus, hyrax, among others. Head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: transfer back to Nairobi and drop off at the airport
Wake up and head to the park for an early morning game drive on which you will spot early risers such as lions, wild dogs as they return from their hunting sprees, among others. Return to the lodge for a late breakfast, checkout and embark on a journey to Nairobi. You will have en-route lunch and then be dropped off at the airport or hotel.
